Fr. Ron Nelson Pastor Father Nelson was born and raised in SE Portland. He entered the seminary in 1998; he spent four years at Mt. Angel Seminary and five years in Rome where he received his Licentiate in Sacred Theology (S.T.L.) in Spiritual Theology from the Teresianum University. Mariana Ruiz Mariana Ruiz has been the parish secretary since the position was created in 2001. She is a long time parishioner and grew up in Silverton. She lives in Gervais with her husband near to their children and grandchildren. She is bilingual and enjoys family, friends, camping, fishing and the Seattle Seahawks. Connie Schlechter Connie has been a parishioner with her husband, Jim, for five years. Her husband has been farming in the area all his life.
